Silver Cup History

Established in 2016, the Silver Cup was created to give more teams a meaningful postseason opportunity and a chance to compete for a championship of their own. Designed for programs outside the top tier, the Silver Cup provides a competitive and rewarding experience that highlights the depth and growth of girls lacrosse throughout Oregon.
Over the years, the Silver Cup has become a respected part of the OGLA postseason, showcasing rising teams, emerging talent, and the continued development of programs across the state. It offers players and coaches a platform to test their progress, build momentum, and celebrate their season with purpose and pride.
The Silver Cup stands as a testament to the spirit of competition and the inclusive growth of girls lacrosse in Oregon, where every team has a shot at making history.
