League Requirements for Coaches:
  • HEAD COACH MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (Varsity and JV):
  1. US Lacrosse Level 1 course completion (all 3 sections of the CEP). Take the online couse: CLICK HERE
  2. CPR and First Aid Certified
  3. Must be 21 years of age or older
  4. Must be a member of US Lacrosse
  5. Must have intermediate knowledge of lacrosse
  6. Must have signed Code of Conduct on file with OGLA
  7. Concussion training certification: http://activecoach.orcasinc.com/
  8. Proof of certification and membership due to league reps by February 1st.
  • ASSISTANT COACH MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (Varsity and JV)
  1.  Must be a high school graduate
  2.  Must be a member of US Lacrosse          
  3.  CPR and First aid certification strongly encouraged (required if ever coaching without head coach present)
  4.  Must have signed Code of Conduct on file with OGLA
  5.  Concussion training certification: http://activecoach.orcasinc.com/
  6.  If an assistant coach is ever running a practice alone, they must meet all of the head coach requirements
  7.  Proof of membership due to league reps by February 1st
